Our Team

Camino Behavioral Health Staff

Our diverse group of talented staff is the heartbeat of our organization, each bringing unique skills, perspectives, and experiences that enrich our team. We believe that great things are achieved through teamwork, and our team embodies this philosophy every day.

At Camino, we believe that outcomes matter. That’s why our BCBAs carry small caseloads—to ensure each child receives individualized attention, consistent supervision, and meaningful parent training. We also believe RBTs are at the heart of service delivery, and they deserve the support, training, and respect needed to do their best work.

Each staff member plays a vital role in our mission, and their commitment to excellence is evident in everything we do. We are proud of the relationships we’ve built, not just within our team, but also with our clients and parents. These connections are fundamental to our success, and we are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with all of you.

Join us as we continue to grow, innovate, and make a positive impact in the lives of our clients. Camino is not just a team; we are a family, united by a shared purpose and a vision for the future. Thank you for being part of our journey.

Evelyn Martinez, BCBA Founder

A woman in a white tank top and long light brown hair smiles brightly with blurred indoor playground equipment behind her.

As both an RBT and a BCBA, Evelyn has spent over a decade working directly with children and families, gaining a deep understanding of what truly makes ABA services effective. She founded Camino Behavioral Health with a clear mission: that children in New Mexico deserve access to high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based ABA treatment.

“Every decision we make is grounded in the belief that early intervention changes lives. I’m proud to lead a team that is dedicated to making a lasting impact on the children and families we serve.”

Her areas of interest include teaching communication through the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), as well as feeding and sleep training. Carly currently serves as the Clinical Director for Camino Behavioral Health Services. She is focused on mentoring BCBAs, students, and RBTs, as well as continuing to shape curriculum and programming based on the latest evidence-based practices. She is extremely proud of the success of the clients at Camino. In her free time, Carly enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, reading, and cooking.

Stephanie earned her Master’s degree in Special Education and has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2021, with experience in the field of ABA starting in 2018. She is passionate about assent-based practices, empowering children to find their voice, and building connections and communication through the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). Stephanie also enjoys supporting children and families with feeding difficulties and fostering independence within the home and community settings.

Zachary Milan, BCBA

A man with short black hair and a red polo shirt stands smiling with his arms crossed confidently in front of a red wall and a window with the blinds closed.

Zachary holds a Master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis and has experience designing and implementing individualized programs in both languages to support each child’s unique needs. Originally from Texas, and fluent in both English and Spanish, he brings a bilingual and culturally responsive approach to his work as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). With a lifelong passion for teaching, Zachary believes the most meaningful learning happens through play. By meeting children at their level and making learning fun, he helps foster growth in confidence and communication. He finds the breakthrough moments that transform not only a child’s life—but their family’s as well, as the most rewarding experiences in the field of ABA.

Ellie Spencer, BCBA

Ellie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is passionate about supporting individuals and families through compassionate, evidence-based care. She specializes in trauma-informed approaches, functional communication, behavioral sleep interventions, and is certified in Skills-Based Treatment (SBT). Outside of her professional work, Ellie enjoys recharging through paddle boarding, dancing, and spending time outdoors with her children and her energetic dog.

Daniel Mora, BCaBA

A man with short black hair, a goatee and a white button down shirt smiles in front of an olive green wall with blurred photos in frames.

Daniel discovered his true calling in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) after beginning his career in nutrition. He found a deep passion for early intervention, particularly through the joy of engaging with children in play-based learning. Daniel is driven by the meaningful connections he builds with clients and the incredible progress they make—especially in developing communication skills. For him, the most rewarding part of his work is witnessing the life-changing impact ABA can have on the lives of children and their families.

Hailey Allen, Lead RBT

She currently serves as the Lead RBT at Camino, where she provides guidance and mentorship to fellow RBTs as they grow in their roles. Being part of those meaningful breakthrough moments is what continues to inspire her work every day.
